How do I create a Lane?
2. At the bottom of the left side menu (bottom left of the screen) you should see
3. The New Lane window will appear, here you can enter the information for your lane.
- "Title" is where you will enter the Title of the Tile. A title is required to create the tile, but don't worry you can change it later.
- The Lane Leader is set by default to who created the lane. If you like you can change the leader by clicking the "Set Leader" button and searching for and selecting a user
- "Include Status" check box will add or remove the Status from a Tile.
- Lane statuses can be set automatically. Select from the "Set Status by" dropdown to specify how the Lane's status should be set.
- Definitions for each status can be added as free form text to each status for the Tile.
4. Once you are finished entering your information you can save your Lane by hitting the "Enter" key or clicking the menu icon (3 dots) or clicking the pencil edit icon.
*Note: if you do not see the "+ Add Lane" button it means you do not have the appropriate permission level to create lanes on the board. Talk to your Board Owner to set your permission level to Board-Owner or Board-Editor.
