SharePointOnline Integration

You can associated a SharePoint Online site with your Virbeya Board.

*Note: The initial setup must be done by your system administrator. Talk to your system administrator to have this done.
*Note: You require editor permission on a board or lane to be able to upload/attach documents to tiles in Virbeya. If you do not have this permission then talk to your board or lane owner.

Once a SharePoint site has been configured for your board then you can attach documents to tiles on a Virbeya board by doing any one of the option demonstrated in the short videos below.

Virbeya tiles that have documents attached by using any one of these methods will now display the last modified date of the document directly on the tile. The last modified date is taken directly from SharePoint (ie Virbeya will display the same date that you see when viewing the file directly in SharePoint)

Virbeya tiles that have documents attached by using any one of these methods will also have the ability to display a thumbnail image of that document directly on the tile. This is available for Word, Excel, PDF and Image documents.

By default the thumbnail image will be created from the first page of the document. If you would like the thumbnail to be created from a different page follow the instructions in this article.

Drag and drop a file onto an existing tile or an "Add Tile" area:

Browse to a local file and select it to be uploaded and attached to a new or existing tile:

Browse to a file that has already been uploaded to SharePoint Online and select it to be attached to a new or existing tile:

Note: The remote file picker window will only display files that are currently not attached to any other tile.
