Default Settings for New Items
To access this feature, first click on the board settings gear in the top right corner of a board (labelled "1" in the screenshot below).
Next, enter the values you want to use as default values for newly created items (in the area labelled "2" in the screenshot below).
To switch between tile, group and lane settings click on the chevron arrows (labelled "3" in the screenshot below).
These default values are used only when creating new items and they can be changed on each individual item by editing the item after it is created.
Example: If you would like all newly created groups to not display a status you can set this in the default settings for groups by unchecking the "display status" checkbox in the "Default status values for new groups".
Another example: If you would like all newly created lanes to have status descriptions of "Green: All tiles are green", "Yellow: At least one in yellow", "Red: At least one in red", this can be set in the "Default status values for new lanes".
